When Everyone Around You Says You Won't Make It - What Do You Do?
I PLAY HARD, and HARD-ER Than Them!
I grew up in an environment that was not at all encouraging my personal realization as a woman. They said I was not smart enough and I shouldn't aim for too much of a challenging school, because they were certain I would have failed.
They said that I should have stayed in my small town in Italy. And play small and do not desire too much. And yet from the time I was a toddler I dreamt about living in NYC. And as I grew up, I wanted to do something big with my life, and follow my natural inclination as a creative, a leader, and as a free-spirited woman.
I pursued my dream because despite self-doubt I knew what I was capable of. In the face of all adversities, I always played harder, and pushed harder to make it happen, even when I was crying harder than I ever imagined I could.
Today I live in NYC, and I sit right now in front of all the achievements I have accomplished so far. I graduated with a 3.9 GPA from the prestigious Baruch College, I won multiple graphic design awards on a national level, and I run my own business GJ ATTITUDE with the mission to inspire other women to reach their full potential.
I guess I'm living proof, that if you PLAY HARD, no one can't never stop you.
